RTI Community Involvement

We are situated within the traditional territory of the Coast Tsimshian First Nations and we work cooperatively with the Coast Tsimshian First Nations of Lax Kw’alaams and Metlakatla to develop and foster a relationship based on mutual respect.

As an industry leader, we recognize that we not only have a responsibility to our customers, but also to our community. Our management engages with stakeholders and creates opportunities for open communication to share ideas and values. We continue to take an active role in the community through engagement, direct funding and volunteer work. RTI demonstrates good corporate social responsibility by working in partnership with local organizations. This helps to cultivate a community network that demonstrates that the export industry plays a vital role in the social fabric of the local community.

We have been in operation for over 30 years and continues to enjoy a strong relationship with the City of Prince Rupert and the District of Port Edward.

We will continue to strive for excellence now and into the future for our customers, our communities, and our employees. RTI is committed to being sound stewards of the surrounding community and its environment.
